CITY PLANNING  TECHNOLOGY PLANNING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT Applied Communications, LLC has been providing consulting services since 1994.   AppCom services  include land use planning,  telecommunication assessments, housing needs assessments, grant writing, and strategic planning.   Current Project Updates:    1)  Anaconca-Deer Lodge County Growth Policy   AppCom is working with the ADLC Planning Board to update the Growth Policy.  A draft is anticipated to be available in the fall - 2010.  The Growth Policy provides a framework for decision makers on issues regarding land use, natural resource, economic development, housing, and public facilities.  2)  Helena Area Housing Needs Assessment The Helena Area Housing Task Force met in August to finalize the Needs Assessment including Goals and Policies.  The plan will be presented at a joint workshop of the Helena City Council and Lewis & Clark County Commission in the fall.
